The Lucky Dip - Shrinking Violet

Where to go? Shrinking Violet

What to buy? Lucky Dip Bag

What does it cost? £5 plus shipping

What's it all about? A beautiful little lucky dip bag with a selection of my designs. You will get two of my unique greetings cards, a piece of jewellery and a pocket mirror.

Want to know my secret motto? If one bag is lucky, two are even luckier. Opening them up I was instantly smitten by the unique flock of geometric shapes fluttering by. Without a doubt surprising, as I'm not much of a bird fan, I totally adore the ones included here, not just on a card, but a necklace and pocket mirror as well. Of course there is also a bit of a downside. The cat is already lurking. So it is decided, the cat card will be the first getting sent. My verdict? A super fun little treat for yourself and a friend too (not that I'd actually share *wink*).

Personal Favorite? Geometric Bird Pocket Mirror

How do you like these colorful geometric designs? Are you always carrying around a pocket mirror in your purse like I do? And last but not least, which of the two lucky dip bags is your personal favorite?

Project 365 - The End

Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.
Marc Riboud

Imagine a scrunched up towel lying in a corner. Now some might wonder whether this was the plan for today and my camera unexpectedly died. Obviously this is a valid thought, but not really it. You see, I did not actually scrunch up a towel and toss it in a corner to take a picture of it just to find my camera uncooperative. The truth is, and you probably already know where this is going, I've seriously run out of steam and grown tired of the daily photo hunt. The idea of having to snap another 99 pictures is, in one word, daunting. The past few weeks have been a particular struggle for me, thus my decision to call it quits after roughly 3/4 of the year. Come to think of it, some might consider this a fail on my part, but the way I see it, I might not have completed the project, but I sure am proud and happy about how far I got and the often amazing (sometimes subpar) photos I posted here. That being said, I will definitely bring some photography feature back to the blog, but I can't tell when exactly and in all likelihood it will be on a weekly, not a daily basis then.

Project 365 - Day 263

The Lucky Dip - DC Bijou

Where to go? DC Bijou

What does it cost? $12 plus shipping

What's it all about? You will receive a total of 4 boxes, wrapped with a strip of washi tape and a DCBijou butterfly sticker. The contents inside will be a surprise for you - as I've already boxed and taped everything, not even I can tell what's inside the boxes I reach for!
Minimum approximate value for each set is $20, although individual pieces average closer to $10/item. [...] what you might get with your order, such as: - resin floral earrings, - macaron stud earrings, - button earrings, - semi-precious stone jewelry, - bracelets/necklaces/earrings made with Swarovski crystals and/or crystal pearls, - charms/accents in matte gold or rhodium.

Already familiar with the fantabulous fabric grab bag which I splurged on earlier this year, I couldn't resist and had to try this one as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount and variety of items I found in my lil' boxes ranging from romantic earrings to whimsical necklaces. While there are quite a few keepers some pieces will go straight into my drawer filled with things for gifting purposes. Overall a wonderful mix and super affordable to boot, though I must confess, my heart secretly belongs to the fabric version of these grab bags!

Personal Favorite? Victorian Cameo Necklace

Are you as fond of cameo jewelry as I am? Or maybe playful designs like these aren't to your taste and you prefer more modern jewelry? And do you also have a drawer filled with goodies that will make great stocking stuffers?

Added smile factor? The adorable illustration drawn on the outside of the envelope! Enchanted reader with wall candy? That'd be me now.
